「一橋社会人類学リーディングゼミ」は毎回、現代人類学を扱う上で特に重要と思われる一冊の文献を扱い、学内外の（＆分野を超えた）教員と院生とがその内容、関連する研究などについて自由に議論をする場です。年4回実施しています。
首都圏の人類学研究室（一橋大学、東京大学、筑波大学、千葉大学など）のメンバーに加え他分野の研究者・学生も参加しています。
